My Cottage Christmas Wish List

Hey Cottagers! It's that time of year again, time to start thinking about Christmas, and asking that age old question, "What do you want for Christmas?" Well, for me, that is an easy one...I want everything, and particularly everything cottage and outdoors. So I thought I might put together my Christmas wish list and see what happens....*wink*  The thing about Christmas is that sometimes you get something you wouldn't necessarily buy for yourself, but you would still like to have, that's why it's fun to list the things that you might like, and don't already own. My family are always challenged when it comes to getting me Christmas gifts so this might help them out.
So lets get started....this will be a long list, I always want a lot of stuff!
First of all, I'd like to have one of these Orion 5-LED Hat Clip Lights. Perfect to slip in my pocket and use whenever I need it on my hat.

Speaking of flashlights, there is nothing better than a MAGLITE Flashlight I almost always have one on my belt around the camp, boat and when fishing or hunting but another one would be nice.

No cottage is complete without at least one pair of  binoculars

by the window looking over the lake. So these would make a great gift for cottagers and outdoors people like me. Don't go too crazy and get them too powerful, they are too difficult to hold steady, stick with7x35
or  8x40   or  10x50  These are practical, general purpose magnifications that will deliver a good close-up view for most outdoor situations.  Speaking of things like binoculars, BARSKA 40070 Starwatcher Compact Refractor Telescope with Table Top Tripod And Carrying Case

Another cool gift you could get me and outdoors people like me, particularly hunters, is a Trail Camera I probably wouldn't buy one myself, but if you bought me one, I would use it! Speaking of the trail, a new Schrade Old Timer Knife would make a good stocking stuffer too! I'm decorating the camp with moose stuff to go with the moose antlers on the wall, so anything with a moose on it would be nice, I'm thinking one of these Beaver Pond Moose Oval Etched Mirrors This is truly something different. A great idea.

Something else that is always useful around the cottage, at least my cottage is a Socket Set I am always taking something apart to try and fix it, and the sockets come in handy, and, because they are so easy to lose, you can't have enough. Another great Christmas gift that I could add to my cottage tool box is a pair of Vise-Grip Long Nose Locking Pliers with Wire Cutter Very handy.....thank you...thank you very much.....

I'd like a new floater coat  they are a great idea, a life-jacket built into a coat. The one I have is getting rather ragged looking from wearing it so often, so a new one wouldn't be a bad thing. I like the Mustang Classic Float Coat Not only safe, they are pretty warm and comfortable for a day on the lake in the fall or spring when it's cool or downright cold.  Size 40 regular for me thanks again.

Another cottager/outdoorsy type Christmas gift that would work for me is a watch, but not just any watch, I'd like a Timex Men's Expedition E-Instruments Compass Watch This one is water resistant to 330 feet....not that I would need that provided I am wearing my floater coat......

If you don't want to spend too much, but want to get me something that I will wear and wear and truly enjoy and be glad you gave them to me, get me a pair of men's size 10 Bogs Men's Classic High Boots These boots have a comfortable athletic shoe-fit and they are warm and 100% waterproof. I could go for a pair of these!  Oh yes, I almost forgot, my digital camera has taken quite a beating this summer, it got really banged up in my pocket when I was crawling around under the camp fixing the pump, so I'd be delighted with a new Olympus Stylus  Really delighted....really!!! My chest waders took a beating this year, I ripped them on what was left of my old wharf, so a new pair like these Ducks Unlimited 5mm Lug Sole Chest Waders would make me happy, but if you really want to make me super duper happy, a pair of these Simms G3 Guide Stockingfoot Waders would do the trick!! Great for my salmon fishing trips. Oh yeah, don't forget I need a pair of Caddis Felt Sole Wading Shoes to go with the stocking foot waders. Size 10.

Speaking of fishing, my old fly fishing vest is getting kind of worn out, and you know I love to fish, and with my new chest waders and all,  so one of these Columbia Sportswear Henry Fork III Vests under the tree would make me a happy fisherman. Large so it fits over my floater coat.....oh yeah, a few new Scientific Anglers Max 432 WP Fly Boxes would make great stocking stuffers.
If you want to keep me warm and cozy this year when I am outdoors, how about a Woolrich Men's Classic Hunt Coat I  love Woolrich coats and clothes, you can't go wrong here...size 40 regular.

This is going to be a fantastic Christmas when you guys get me all this stuff !! I'll be adding to this when I think of things, so check back often.
