For a guy who has spent his life around the water and boats I never got very good at something as simple as tying the boat to the dock. If you are like me, you know what I am talking about. I struggle with tying the right knot in the dock lines and seldom tie the same knot twice.

In fact, it’s safe to say I use a system of granny knots and half hitches that; 1) are probably not truly secure and 2) are usually difficult to untie and 3) look unprofessional to say the least.
Well the folks at Kwik Tec know about guys like me, and they have come up with a solution. They call it the AIRHEADĀ® Bungee Dock Line.

This is one of those ideas I wish I had thought of myself because it is simple, practical and affordable and a boon to boaters like me who are knot tying challenged.
In addition to making fastening your boat to the dock easy, the AIRHEADĀ® Bungee Dock Lines absorb shock to boats, cleats, docks, pylons and other hardware.
That’s because there is a bungee cord hidden inside the rope that acts as a built-in snubber and two foam floats protect the boat from chafing and there is a sliding adjustment at both ends for quick and easy attaching at the dock. .
